InED's inaugural award programme in 2011 is to recognise all the e-pjj students for the past three semesters, namely January - May 2010, July - November 2010 and January - May 2011 who scored a Grade Point Average (GPA) exceeding 3.50. The awarding event 'Malam Kecemerlangan Pelajar InED 2011' underpins the university's commitment to delivery quality education. The proposal is for InED to organize the event for the third time.
The objectives:
- To reward and acknowledge e-PJJ students who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) exceeding 3.50 (those who did so in the semesters of January - May 2010, July - November 2010 and January - May 2011).
- To generate participation and to build a working relationship between students and staff of InED.
- To publicise InED ePJJ programs to the community.

The final year e-PJJ students from Bachelor in Mass Communication (Public Relations) will assist InED to organise the event as part of thier Public Relations Counselling (PRO 621) project course under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Kiranjit Kaur, who is the lecturer of the course.
