The role and programs offered by the Institute of Education Development (InED), UiTM in response to the government, particularly in the Budget 2012 to focus on an open up greater opportunities for the people in life long learning and 'Malam Kecemerlangan InED 2011'.




For my opinion, this is the effective way to promote the event. The publicty bureau strategy is committed disseminate information about InED as well as to publicize and promote InED programs using fresh and vibrant approaches through electronic media.  Visual power makes situation seems close to viewer.  One of the tactics is appeared on television talk.

Proposal : 'Malam Kecemerlangan Pelajar InED 2011'

InED's inaugural award programme in 2011 is to recognise all the e-pjj students for the past three semesters, namely January - May 2010, July - November 2010 and January - May 2011 who scored a Grade Point Average (GPA) exceeding 3.50.  The awarding event 'Malam Kecemerlangan Pelajar InED 2011' underpins the university's commitment to delivery quality education.  The proposal is for InED to organize the event for the third time.

The objectives:

  1. To reward and acknowledge e-PJJ students who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) exceeding 3.50 (those who did so in the semesters of January - May 2010, July - November 2010 and January - May 2011).
  2. To generate participation and to build a working relationship between students and staff of InED.
  3. To publicise InED ePJJ programs to the community.

The final year e-PJJ students from Bachelor in Mass Communication (Public Relations) will assist InED to organise the event as part of thier Public Relations Counselling (PRO 621) project course under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Kiranjit Kaur, who is the lecturer of the course.  Let's pray for them for the success.  Good Luck!!

Public Relations Counselling Project

This course is offered to graduating Public Relations seniors.  It pulls together knowledge gained from all previous courses in public relations and communications taken by students.  The class operates as an agency and the students are expected to act as an agency and the students are expected to act as public relations consultants.  The type of counselling project will be determined by the client's need.  The focus is to develop skills and familiarity with the latest practices and techniques in public relations programming.


In my opinion as one of the student who is taking this course, students should be able to identify public relations research problems and opportunities, prepare public relations and communication messages and a campaign proposal, construct public relations and communication strategies through problem solving and implement public relations and communication strategies as required of a junior public relations consultant in a public relations agency.
